atlasWhat is the nature of Dark Matter? What is beyond the Standard Model of particle physics? Does Supersymmetry exist? I strive to discover the answer to these questions through the analysis of proton-proton collisions provided by the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) located near Geneva, Switzerland and recorded by the ATLAS detector. In particular, I am searching for the Supersymmetric partner to the top quark, the so-called “stop”.

In addition to these pursuits, I am also involved in the effort to upgrade the ATLAS detector — in particular, the Liquid Argon Calorimeter trigger electronics — in order to cope with the high-luminosity, challenging environment associated with future upgrades of the LHC.
